Subject: Kakiemon style decorations of morning glory flowers, botan (peony) flowers, kikyo (bellflowers) flowers, wisteria flowers, grasses, and a butterfly. Lid finial handle in shape of squirrel (or dormouse) among grapes, the squirrel's arched tail forming the handle-loop. Sculptural grape and grape leaf designs on handle and spout.
