Origin/Maker: Warren MacKenzie (1924-2018, Minnesota, USA. "Warren" written on base (likely a collector's mark added later). Warren MacKenzie didn't mark his work for the 1970s and most of the 2000s (until 2009), so this is probably from one of those periods
Warren MacKenzie studied with Bernard Leach, one of the founders of the Mingei philosophy, and was heavily influenced by Hamada Shoji. His work sometimes referred to as the Mingei-sota style.
