At least three other Makuzu Kozan pieces were sold in this auction (besides this Ninsei/Gosu blue Satsuma-style large bowl with flowers, there was a mostly unglazed statue of Daruma, an unsigned Satsuma style teapot with fruits, and a celadon incense burner), but only one was identified as such in the description (the celadon incense burner; incidentally the only one of the bunch I didn't buy). Some surface wear, which is especially heavy on the decorations around the bottom of the inside of the bowl. The flower and leaf designs have intricate designs within them as well. In the style of Nonomura Ninsei, and also utilizing lots of Gosu blue decorations in the style of Imperial Satsuma wares.
