Antique Japanese Satsuma Ceramic Pottery Vase Chrysanthemum Flowers Kiku Japan

Origin/Maker: Kyushu Kagoshima area Satsuma ware, Japan. Maker's mark on base is mostly missing due to a hole that was drilled in the base. The top of the mark appears to be a Shimazu crest, the bottom mark appears to be a 山, indicating it's likely a Kagoshima area Satsuma piece, from a maker whose name ended in "-zan"

Condition: Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some wear to painted design, especially gold painted areas. Base has a drilled hole, was probably used as a lamp.
