Subject: Netsuke of a wooden screen, with pine trees on both sides, and the design of a carp fish swimming up a waterfall (a reference of the Chinese Longmen legend of the Dragon Gate that if a carp climbs a waterfall, it will become a dragon en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longmen_(mythology)). The sides of the screen are decorated with designs of dragons. Himotoshi (cord hole) runs from bottom of netsuke to side of netsuke, where it comes out of the tree.
