Provenance: The same koro is published in "Collector's Value Guide to Oriental Decorative Arts" by Sandra Andacht on pages 40 & 41 with the following text:
"Japanese Kyoto ware koro (censer), last half of the 18th c., cock and hen finial, supported on three legs, 4" h.
$4500-$6000"
Note that the published 4" height is incorrect.

Condition: Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. No cracks or chips.
