Condition: Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some original to manufacture separation between the different colored clays in spots.
Subject: Square shaped bottle vase with a squared spout, by LNT Tatsuzō Shimaoka, in his typical Jōmon zogan style of pottery, with slip inlaid rope marks on the side, and an Ichimatsu checkered square pattern formed by alternating white and black clay (a process called nerikomi or neriage)
