1912 The pottery company Shibaoka Tosendo was founded by the first generation Kazan.
1931 Relocate store and workshop to current location and open for business
1983 Second generation Kazan is certified as a traditional craftsman of Bizen ware.
1991 Second generation Xiangshan received the Traditional Crafts Industry “Award of Merit” from the Bureau of International Trade and Industry of China.
1994 Second generation Kayama received the “Award of Merit” in the traditional craft industry from the Minister of International Trade and Industry.
1998 The third generation of the pottery, Shibaoka Tosendo, takes on the name Koyama.
2008 Third generation Kayama is certified as a Bizen ware traditional craftsman.
2012 Shibaoka Tosendo celebrates its 100th anniversary
2015 Third generation Kayama received the Distinguished Service Award from the Director-General of the Chugoku Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.
