Condition: Item is used in poor condition commensurate with age, see photos. Handle and lid handle appear to be broken off and glued back in place. Chip to top of handle. Underside of lid has several chips. Lots of crazing, a little dirty. Surface wear.
Subject: Traditional form is described as a musk-melon shape. Decorated with a white crawling glaze. Similar glazes sometimes also used with Japanese Hagi and Shino wares, but they originated in Korea (along with a lot of Japanese ceramics techniques)
