Origin/Maker: Living National Treasure Hamada Shoji of Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The base of the bowl includes his hatsugama “庄” mark, which was only used on his early pieces (the vast majority of his work was famously unsigned, "his work being the signature"). Includes signed box (tomobako) and cloth.
