Condition: Item is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Several small chips to end of spout, to top rim, and to top and underside of lid. One foot is chipped. Some staining, some wear to painted design. Some hairline cracks and crazing.
Subject: Ko-Kiyomizu ware choshi (sake ewer) or teapot. Decorated with enamel designs in blue and green of pine tree branches. The long spout and feet on the base indicate that it is more likely for sake than for tea, but the screen for the spout mean it also could be used for tea.
